Hello

Please tell me the difference between Compact and Evolution version. I want to know if 'compact" can have scrolling menu while navigating (or fix menu position) if the menu can be customized at multiple levels for so called drop-down menu and second what does it mean mobile version and if Compact X5 does include it.

What are the functionality limitations of Compact version comparing to Evolution?

Mobile vesrion means autodetect of browser and scaling the page or what?

Thank you!

Hi Dan,

Edition "Compact 11" does not include the feature to create a scrolling menu but I confirm that the drop-down menu can be customised.

Website built with WebSite X5 are navigable on mobile devices. Your websites will work just as well on mobile devices as they do on computers, and they support Touch Technology. The Edition "Evolution£ does include special "Mobile Templates" that use smaller dimensions of the grafic.

Thank you, Noemi. I will buy Evolution then because I need that scrolling menu.

Please take a moment to detail this if you are so kind: the mobile version about you said, this is in fact a smaller version of the desktop layout, it is scaled and this is all, isn'it ?

Correct me if I am wrong but the touch function is a smart phone support and does nothing to do with web page, it is odd you said this.

Last, I cannot find a contact address in webpage, a regular email.

When I face technical problems I have no one to speak only this forum ? It is the Autodesk policy and the corporation policy which I do not stand.

Thank you again!

Oh, and more: both of Evolution and Compact are working with HTML 5 and CSS 3?

Thank you for your time, Noemi.

Hi Dan,

yes, I confirm that the mobile templates are smaller Templates in order to show the web site correctly on mobile devices. We will improved this feature in order to make the website responsive.

I also confirm that both editions, Evolution and Compact, are working with HTML 5 and CSS 3.

We do not offer email support. For any technical request, please use WebSite x5 Answers. You have the possibility to open a private post, if you want that only the Incomedia Team may see your request.

Thank you,

Noemi

It is incredible what the Incomedia Team did with this program and I am trying the demo mode. Few lacks inside, like the fact you cannot define a style text box with round corners background and so on to be applied in all contain, but it's a great job! I'll study the features and decide which to buy.

When you'll make it really responsive you'll blow the market.

Thanks again

Kindly Regards

beta was released a month ago. As this was a complete rewrite it's hard to tell. From the past you could/maybe say a month or two. Check the update page on the last 2 releases.

If they don't release V12 by this weekend my wife is going have a fully grown 6 year old alien child with green skin!     So I can't stand it either. Plus our pictures will be in the National Inquirer where perspiring minds want to know.
