Hello

what is Major difference  Website X5 Professional V11 vs V12

i purchased Website X5 Professional V11 in spring, and now i see that there is V12 offer, before decision to spend extra 100Eur for this update i have questions

what is major differences beetween these 2 versions??

with version 11  there was big disadvantage that  mobile site template was not mobille friendly due to fixed viewport. (google ranking), is it now improved?

Maybe now desctop version can be simple transfered to mobile version without creating new project?

What about Desctop and mobile website versions?

If i have Desctop version only, can desctop version converted to mobile version without extra manuall work like (increasing fonts, creating spaces in document and etc)

Does in V12 now mobile site is fully compatible with google mobile friendly site?

Grazvydas, check out the videos, info and full compare products chart on the home page for X5. Check the pages and info available linked to the menu bar buttons and the links at the bottom of the page. In general terms the answer to your questions are yes.

Regards - Donald

Hello Grazvydas S.,

Yes, the new responsive functionality in version 12 means it is no longer necessary to create separate sites (adaptive method) unless you specifically wish to do so.

You will need to purchase the Professional version though, as the Evolution version will not give you the necessary flexibility to design separate viewports for small laptops, tablets, in addition to desktops and smartphones.

Kind regards,

Paul

Ill tryed to play with V12 demo and there is DEMO site

http://www.upsera.lt/t/

when im trying to reach this site with mobile phone, the header and botom are outside limits. The program size OF PICTURE is showing right (see picture attached), So where is a problem?

Also i noticed, that for responsive menu (for mobiles) header and bottom can be set only as picture (jpeg) it means if i place here logos or links, it will not be active right?

The screenshot you posted shows settings for the Page Background.  The settings which you need to customise are the Header and Footer.  You can select these from the 'Page Section' drop-down menu.  Please read the appropriate sections of the help file:

Yes, active content is not permitted, but the company logo can be in GIF, PNG, or JPG format.
