Responsive Design Heading in Template  en

Have just installed Ver 12 Pro and are trying to get to grips with Responsive design. I can see how to work with pages but I have a site heading in the Template (a small picture and the name of the website) which appears on every page. When I test the site at 960 px it works fine however at all the other sizes 720px and 480 px the picture heading and title disappear and all I have at top of page is the hamburger menu. I am not sure if I should be doing something with the template or is it not possible with the Responsive Design to have an object embedding in template. The original site is here http:\\saintalbans.org.nz This is pre version 12 have not had enough experience with RD to risk uploading.

Thanks in advance

You can add a header image (and an image behind hamburger) in Template Style, Responsive Template Structure.

I am not sure if I have made myself clear. At present my site has a site Heading and a small jpeg in the Template Customization so that the heading on each page looks the same.

I have turned on the responsive options in both template and pages. When I view the site through Preview I can view the site correctly using the 960 px view but if I select any of the other views eg 720 px or 480 px all the heading disappears and I get the Hamburger menu and empty space above it. (i opted for menu to be below Heading) I am not sure why the jpeg logo and heading typing have disappeared. How can I get the smaller viewports to retain the logo and heading. I dont want to have to recreate them on evey page in the site.

Hi Ron,

In version 12, the header and footer have been readjusted in the Responsive mode.

You're only allow to select a single image as header and a simple text line as footer, both in  Step 1 of the software.

Hope I've been helpful
