Is there a way to hide a menu item in the responsive site?

My desktop site has several sub levels on the menu that include photos and tables that are not suitable for a mobile device. Is there a way to remove these menu items from the responsive site menu? The responsive menu isn't handling menu sub menu items well and I want to keep it as simple as possible.

And no there is not, but there is the option on your site to hide content for responsive view. Goto your page in step 3 and selectect responsive button, there you can hide parts of the site for various responsive views. (select and press hide button)
