Hi, I have Evolution version 11 and I just downloaded the demo version of 12. I am trying to open one of my version 11 projects with version 12, but I keep getting the error as shown in the attached Jpeg. I need to figure this out, or I won't buy the upgrade. Any ideas?

. . . you are trying to open an v10 project through onedrive ?

No it's a version 11 project on onedrive. I moved the project folder to my desktop to see if it was something to do with onedrive, but got the same error. The reason the project folder says version 10, is that was the version I started with about 3 years ago. I upgraded to version 11 as soon as it came out, but did not rename the folders. Version 11 opens the project with no problems.

it appears the demo version won't import projects. I don't understand this as I wish to test it on my exsisting projects, otherwise the demo is pointless.
I have exported and imported 2 v10 and one v11 evo into pro 12 without issues, making them responsive was easy, but I did have to read the help a few times.

In the demo version or the full version, Esahc?

I have the full version - bite the bullet, it's great! (at least it will be when the final bugs are ironed out, but these won't affect a standard website). I initially purchased evolution which worked great, but quickly backtracked and got the purchase refunded so I could buy Pro because I wanted some or the functionality to control responsiveness sadly refused to evo owners.

What extra features?

A massive jump in cost. Not sure I do enough on my website to justify the large outlay.
Check your profile, offers to you.
The jump from evo 11 to evo 12 should be a pretty good discount for the next few days, and it will at least give you a responsive layout if you wish to avail yourself of it. If you are never wanting mobile access to your sites, I doubt you'll find anything in 12 worth the upgrade. 12 is all about responsive layout for various devices/resolutions.
The jump to pro could be painfull and hard to justify.
Sorry Ben, I forgot to answer your earlier question. I wanted more control over the breakpoints and/or the removal of some resolutions as well as more control over page layout for some pages under responsive layout. Whilst I think "they" were a bit mean in not including this in evo, I am also hopefull that when more cutting edge features get rolled out, being on Pro will give me the best chance of getting them.

Evo still has the resposive layouts, maybe not as configurable as pro, but most likely all I need. I think I'll upgrade. After all, they'll always refund me if i don't like it. Thanks for the help, Esach
Enjoy - it works great (barring some minor bugs I am sure will be fixed soon)
Here are 2 I did in evo12

Fixed the buttons. It was an error in the template. For some reason the colour of the bottons had changed on the guestbook page. reset them, and all is cool, Love the fact my site is now more mobile friendly.
