Site icon not showing in browser tab

If you look at my sites www.eeevents.info and www.equus-imaging.com in a tabbed browser, the icon shown for eeevents is supposed to show in the equus tab as well but it doesn't.
I have reloaded and tried other files but it never shows. Now using v12 but also happened in v11.

Hello Colin,
The icon displays for me in the tabs of Chrome and Internet Explorer, but not Firefox. Is that similar to your own findings?
Favicons can be unpredictable as their behaviour is browser-dependent.
I can't see anything obvious and will continue to have a good old think about this one. In the meantime hopefully someone else will chip in with the solution!

Thanks Paul, I use Firefox, must remember to check other browsers. Strange though that one site shows and the other not in Firefox.
