Is there a tutorial or other doc that explains what the mobile app section does?

William,
It gives a notice on mobiles if you have rss feeds or blog updates from your site.
Use F1 to learn more, or better, use the feedready button on the below part of the mobile app page in step4.
But best practice is to just test it yourself. reate a test project, set it at your webhost in a test folder and try it out. If you need help in certains settings and the help file does not give you the answers then place them here.

Hi William
I think we were all hoping that the new Mobile App would enable a mobile version of our website created in X5 to be deployed.
WE get Google stts telling us that our sites have too many words created in X5 but they are not. Is the mobile version of X5 working as a mobile versiuon of our site ?

I will look at the help file.. So are you saying that if used it can be put in the "app store" and then if a client has it they can get push notifications?
yes you can push notifications from rss feeds or blog feeds from your site on to the app, users need to get the app from the store (it is already there for everyone to download, you can also make a link from your site to it. Offcource this works only from a handheld device) after download customer needs to set the internet adress and thats it.
But it's been awile sinds I have been testing with the app so I could be a little "rusty". But it works pritty straight forward, it sounds more complicated then it is!
best way is to just give it a try. Seek help in the help file and if your stuck, ask for help here in Answers.
