When I upgraded to 12 Pro, I uninstalled version 11 Pro and now the "exsisting projects" reads that its missing the "Libary.xml" file to load the exsisting website already created.

I have a backups it reads, how do you restore your back up?

Hello Rob,

Did you export your v11 project in Step 5 as an IWZIP file (which could then be imported into v12)?  This is the method used to upgrade v11 projects to v12 as described in this document:

http://static.incomedia.eu/websitex5.com/v12/v11tov12_conversion_en.pdf

If you didn't do this then you need to temporarily reinstall version 11 and then follow the instructions in that article.  Your v11 project data should still be on your computer unless you have used an extensive uninstaller software: WebSite X5 stores project data separately from program files for this very reason, and will not remove project data when uninstalling (unless you explicitly force this by using a third-party uninstaller).

Once you have used the option 'Export the Project' in Step 5 of v11 you can then import the file produced into v12 at the project selection screen.  If you get any errors at this point then please revert to us and let us know.  You may already be at this point but it wasn't clear from reading your initial post so I'm just trying to clarify.

Kind regards,

Paul

No i didn't because when i upgraded from Evolution to Pro I didn't have too.

I found the answers elsewhere and did just what you're stating above and I am all set now.

I really appreciate your response, I love this program again!!

Thank you again!!  Rob P.
