Page design problems

My site is not published yet and I am not getting any error messages, but... I am an artist. I am trying to set up gallery pages, with rows of thumbnails and coordinating text below each thumbnail. I have been alternating a gallery of 3 to 4 horizontal thumbnails with a row of text blocks lining up underneath, but I've run into two problems.
1. The text blocks won't always line up beneath the correct thumbnail image. I have to figure out which text block connects to which image, and type the text in that block. Quite a puzzle.
2. Sometimes, when I create a row of horizontal text blocks (max # of blocks so far - 3), they show up vertically instead.
This is disappointing as I have been loving the software up to this point

Why you don't use the image object where you can use the cell style options to add a text under the image in the TEXT section?

In this way you will be able to choose if the image needs to open in a showbox or to link to a page and you will be able to have the text always correctly aligned since it is part of the image object.

Wow I have been in this situation a couple of times before and never realized I could do what Claudio indicates :)
Anyway Jackie, that's your solution for creating a gallery with descriptive text under every picture!

Here are the screen shots. As you can see, the template looks fine, and the first row of slides and text work great. But in the second row. The slides are horizontal, but the text shows up vertically along the left edge.
I dont know how to do the fix you described, but I really want to use the thumbnail slide feature with the paintings opening up when clicked on. I also had a problem on another page where the text blocks appeared below the wrong slides, but at least they were horizontaland. I had to rearrange the slides to go with the appropriate text block.
I appreciate any help you can give. I've been struggling with this for days now!

For the use you want to achieve, since you need to have all perfectly aligned this is not possible by using the gallery object since these are 2 different objects. the best choice is or to use separated image objects under eacht you add the text or html code object to add the paypal purchase link or you do all in one object directly so it will be correctly aligned since it is in the same object.

Thank you again, Claudio and Luis, for your response. I have reread the link carefully and I am trying again to learn to work with the image object instead of the gallery object, but it can't seem to find any option for a showbox, which is the gallery type effect I am trying to achieve. Can you tell me where I can find how to make the image open in a showbox? I have only worked with Yahoo SiteBuilder in the past, so this is all new to me.
