Spaces in Text after adding links  en

We have almost finshed our website ready for publishing (Now published) and noticed that some pages had spaces in the text, that where not previously there. Have fixed about 6 pages and all looked OK. Then had to add a link to a page, then when previewed, spaces have been added to the text on this page as well. Very frustrating.

Web site is www.cadbuild.com.au

Concerned about the stability of the program.

It looks like special formats are taken from where you copy this text.

You could see if copy special button works, else you can lose the extra format by pasting the text first in notepad and then copy it from notepad and paste it then in the text object.

Andre,

I agree that a couple of the pages might have been caused by previous formating, strange that it did not show up straight away, had been saved and reopened a few times.  This page was created completely new in X5. http://www.cadbuild.com.au/features-in-detail.html Nearly every bit of text was fragmented, and the links to the videos and PDF files was lost. Was OK last time when saved, when opened for more updating text had spaces.

Thanks
Jon

Jon,

That's strange indeed, but it looks alright now. So very hard to find out why it behaved like that.

Maybe something went wrong in storing temp files. Sometimes if strange things happen in preview, it helps refreshing all the files by using the ctrl key while choosing preview, this takes offcource then a bit longer to load.

Or online with ctrl-F5.

In the mean time keep a good eye on it.
