Tabs cause swipe problems on touch devices

Dear Incomedia,
Qestion re tabs in text field. I used vertical tabs (top of text object) and there's a problem on touch devices. The view changes to next tab whether you swipe horizontally or vertically. Horizontally seems fine as it corresponds to tabs settings. But why does it also work while you swipe vertically? When the object takes up the whole screen it is impossible to scroll up or down as swiping up/down changes tabs. Can this be fixed somehow or maybe there are settings for that that I'm not aware of?

On the text or table object if you use the tabs on a mobile device the scrolling to the other tabs is made with the swipe and the same function cannot have more functionalities like also scroll the page since it is already used to change tab. This is the default setting in case you use tabs.
I would suggest to not make too long text objects with tabs so it will be possible to scroll down by swiping on an area outside the object with the tabs.

Thank you for you reply. I think this should be fixed somehow. The tabs are very useful but unfortunately making them shorter is not a solution in my case. Making it respond to vertical swipe only would solve the issue. I guess at least it would make sense from my perspective.

I would suggest you to open an "Idea" post as suggestion so the developers will take it in consideration for future releases of the program.
