Copy html issue
Author: Barry T.Each page on my website consists of HTML objects each one representing one product.
To each of these object there is some CSS associated to give a sliding caption effect, and this is working exactly how I want it to.
To create a new page I copy one page to another... and the animation still works.
However, when I edit the new page to reflect the number of products I want on that page, I will delete a row or a single HTML object (from the right of the row) and very often I lose the animation effect.
I've tried any number of things to re-instate the animation... copying HTML objects, cutting and pasting from another object, copy and pasting fron Notepad, but nothing will bring the animation back, once it's gone it's gone. I've tried deleting line by line from the bottom of the page if I need fewer objects, saving and previewing and this works well until I delete a single object (each page is four objects wide) so if I only want three objects on the last line I delete the rightmost object... and it loses the animation.
The only way I can get the animation back is to copy the original page again after deleting the one I was working on... and then try and think of something else to get it to work.
Maybe its someting to do with the size of the copied page... say going from 20 objects to 15 for example... if the row is full it seems to be Ok...
Also if I want less than 3 rows it loses the animation.
I'm out of ideas to be honest... very frustrating.
