Removing Google Adsense Script
Author: Frank V.Hi,
I have a problem with removing a Google Adsense script.
I put a html-widget on my startpage using the x5-software. It was a Google Adsense script to show Google ads on My startpage (Index.html). now the problem is that I changed my account from Google Adsense, so I have to change the script in my Index.html page too. No problem I thought .. I changed the script in my html-widget with the x5 software. But the old script wasn't removed form the Index.html page. So I used a html-editor the change to script in the Index.html file also... So far so good ... Now I got a message from Google Adsense that there was allready a script on my website (the old script that I removed) , And you are not allowed to have two different scripts from two different Adsense accounts on 1 website (logic) .. so I started to look at the other html-pages from my website.. and guess what ? the old script was on all my pages... and I only put the html-widget on 1 page.. the problem is that I have 602 pages !!! do I have to edit them all one by one with a html-editor to remove the old script? because i Changed the html script in my HTML-widget using the x5 software , but the old script doesn't go away on the html-files automaticcaly ? Any Idea how i get rid off the old script in one time ? else I have to edit all the html-pages one by one with a html-editor. The old "AddsbyGoogle script" is on all my pages.
Hello Frank,
No, you will not have to remove the 'old script' from each page one by one, unless you originally added the 'old script' to each page in that way.
Most likely you have added the 'old script' in Step 4 Advanced Settings > Statistics, SEO and Code > Expert tab.
Click on the 'Custom Code' dropdown menu and look for the script in each of the six possible locations in turn ('Before closing the HEAD tag', 'Before closing the BODY tag', etc.) - from the screenshot it looks like it has been added just before closing the body tag.
When you find the script, delete it, then hold the CTRL key and enter the Preview mode. Allow the Preview to build to completion by watching the progress bar in the bottom right of the screen. Then upload ALL your project files to the server in Step 5, not just those recently modified.
Kind regards,
Paul

Thank you anyway for responding, my mistake though :-)
