Hi,

I was creating a new project, completed all my menu, text, layout features and was playing around with the header and footer.

I created a slide show of pictures on the header but decided it didn't work. So I clicked 'Remove' and an error message came up saying it will need to shut the program down, but your work has been saved.

It has not been saved. Yes silly of me to not save it every step, but I didn't expect it to crash like this.

So I've taken time to look everywhere ,but it is not anywhere and I will need to start again.

Not happy. I don't wanna be fearful of it crashing at any point with no warning.

I had several crashes on 12 too (after my recent update from 11). It happened when I had edited my project, then wanted to upload it. I then saved it to disc and tried again to upload it to my server using X5 and that worked. Still, if you make changes you should save them immediately, 12 doesn't seem reliable yet.

Hi Gary.

You are not forced to worry about saving every now and then. The software offers the option to autosave the project every time you launch the preview.

To activate it, just click on the small arrow next to the floppy disk saving icon inside the program, and tick "Save on every Preview".

This will surely help you not to lose work in case of crashing

Let me know
