We try to publish a intranet website.
Therefor on our server ISS settings have been set such that we can publish it internally.
The software only accepts formats likt http://www.intranet.com
We are not able to use such address. We could still use Export website to disc, which is useful to upload our data to our intranet site.
Now the built in search engine does not function, because our site is not "published".
What can we do

Hello Yvonne,
Waht type of address are you entering?
for a website also on an intranet you need to use an http address.
The search engine works only on the published website since it needs PHP support to work.
Many thanks!

Hi Claudio (and others)
we have now http://intranet/index.html
The intranet is shared using a network drive linked to this address, however it can not be reached using ftp which is required for publishing the website.
Is there any difference in export to disk or publish (using ftp)?
Thanks
There is no difference in export to disk or publish (using ftp). So if you export to disk directly to the network drive or copy the files to your drive all should work properly, if the IIS is set up correctly. I do this to test my work locally befor publishing.
