For no apparent reason when uploading website changes to Internet thru the x5 export page I received an error message state I had the incorrect password. Since I have all the settings locked in and they have always worked this doesn't make sense to me. Using SFTP hosted with one.com. I have contacted them and they advised changing my password because they tell me it doesn't work any longer. Since I have made no changes to it I asked why does it no longer work for which they  had no answer other then to  change it. Has this problem been reported by any one else using x5.

I use SFTP exclusively on all my sites and haven't had any issues whilst using WebSite X5 right through to the present version (12.0.4.21)

In all honesty I can't help feeling that your host might have something to do with this.  Settings don't just suddenly break for no reason, as you rightly point out.  Some web hosts encourage regular password changes to bolster security, but I've no idea if one.com do this, and even if they did they would surely let you know about it.

Have you made any changes to the configuration of your server recently, or requested any updates or alterations to your hosting package?

Have made no changes since last successful upload. This problem came out of no where will change password as they have advised (reluctantly ) will keep you posted. Thanks again  Carl D.
