Help aligning a menu image

Can you help. I'm trying to align the trees as a menu background but because it is so large the menu text will not come down. Is there a way to bring the content background up, the trees down and the menu text covering the trees?
The tree menu background is quite wide. Is it possible to get it all aligned?

If I attach the content image to the tree image I want as my menu background this is as close as I can get the menu text to being on top of the tree image

It depends a bit on the picture (sizes)
I would set the menu (this is in x5 step 1 template style, main template structure) inside the header, make the header high enough to have the trees and the picture above it in it. (you add the top picture later in the header itself).
Set the trees below as header backgroend. Use the menu inside the header option. make the menu background transparant.
Hope this helps, else send me the pictures (tree top picture and background I shal try to make an good example if you wish.

I tried and tried every other way but the alignment just wouldn't work. I just went with something else

If you wish I am willing to try and get it working, I'm pritty sure it is possible.
So the offer stands, but if the other solutions works as well, then thats ok too.

I gave up on it completely as It just would not work. It was more pain in the backside than what it was worth. Thank you again for your help!
