Hello, i use the Guestbook Function and the Captcha in it. The PHP Script is not secure enough. Every week, my provider deactivated my webspace, because the Website X5 Script is totaly unsecure. Every week there where lot of Spam Mails send by this script. At the End the X5 function is NOT Usable. Why do you offer a software with PHP Problems like this? I had to pay 50€ because of YOUR damaged script. Now I deleted the guestbook function and all works fine now.... This is really not a good solution at all.

The guestbook captcha helps to avoid spam but it is necessary the hosting to block before the spam from the bots by using a black list protection from the known sources and then the captcha helps to avoid the ones which passes to be blocked.
The spam protection can't be done only by the guestbook. Most hosting have a filter system for the spam and then the guestbook captcha helps to not have spam at all but it nothing is filtered by the hosting provider then the guestbook captcha stops partially the spam.
