&-sign does not show correctly in Copyright
Author: Ruud Roefs-WijnenIn the security part (V12) I clicked on the option HTML-code security, so that visitors who try to copy one of my pictures, get the message "Copyright Fawlty & Jones." Unfortunately the message they get is: "Copyright Fawlty amp; Jones. All rights reserved."
I had exactly the same problem in 2011, in V9. At that time you gave me the solution https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/post/4872 This worked perfect for all the versions after V9. But in V12, unfortunately, it doesn't. I inserted the HTML code in the Statistics, SEO and Code - Advanced tab - exactly on the same place, before closing the tag </HEAD>
<body oncontextmenu="alert('Copyright Fawlty & Jones'); return false;">
But then I got the message "Copyright Fawlty Jones" (see attached picture).
Can you tell me how I can get this right?
Hello Ruud,
Only in the preview browser it is not displayed correctly. Once you export it and test it with another browser the & sign will appear correctly.
Many thanks!
