Website on Laptop a complete mess !!!  en

The responsive website functions perfect on the computer, tablet and smartphone. www.fawltyandjones.com

But on the laptop the whole website is completely out of order. The buttons are not centered anymore. The buttons are not working correctly. There are a few subbuttons missing. They are not showed directly beneath the primary button, but to the right. And it is almost not possible to click on it. There are a few columns who are not completely shown. In other words, it is a complete mess!

I refreshed, cleared the cash, but that all makes no difference.

In preview everything looks just fine.

Can anyone tell me what is going on?

Hello Ruud,

Have you tried testing in another browser?

When you say you cleared the cache, what exactly did you do?

Try holding down the 'CTRL' key whilst pressing 'F5' which will reload the page completely.

Or you could also test in an incognito or 'InPrivate' browser window, which does not utilise the cache.

It does look like a cache issue, to be honest.  Your site displays perfectly for me in Internet Explorer on my laptop, although I am not sure if my screen resolution will match yours.

Kind regards,

Paul

PS: also check your 'Compatibility View' settings if using Internet Explorer, as they can wreak havoc in this sort of way.

If your website is on the 'Compatibility View' list in 'Settings' then deselect it and try loading/refreshing the page again.

Thank you for your quick response!!!

I tried all of this, but nothing worked. Until a few minutes ago. I did not do anything, I just took another look, and suddenly the website appeared correctly as it should. I do not know what happened, but it lookes like, as you were suggesting, it was a cache problem.

I Panicked for nothing ...

Once again, thanks for your quick support!!!
