Hello Mogens,

You shouldn't have to redo all the links to your website if you have only imported a project from a previous computer to a new computer.

Can you post the URL to your website please?  Or alternatively post a screenshot illustrating the type of 'link' that is broken.

Many thanks,

Paul

I have uploaded the old version again (from the old pc) - because it is a semi-pro website so I cant have it running without the links :-)

The type of links: It the type where I link to a local file before uploading - therefore I copied the whole map to the same location on the new pc (after downloading it from a cloud-drive)

When I mark the links in Website X5 (before uploading) - they just refers to the download area (transfered files) in the windows library - not to the original library (documents) - so when the project is uploaded - there is only an empty page when you click the link

it seens like - because I transfered the project-files into the download area (dont know what the term is in english - my windows is in danish) - it re-writes the links - but I am not running the project from that location - its got its own map on the root

I must have done something wrong in transfering the files and misplaced it on the new pc - so I just have to try again :-)

Now I will try to move the files/project via an USB-key - maybe this will help !?

fortunately I still have the old pc :-)

Please hold down the 'CTRL' key whilst entering the Preview mode in WebSite X5.  Check for any missing files within the WebSite X5 Preview at this stage.  If there are any then you will have to go back to the original Object and investigate/adjust the file path accordingly.

If you are linking to files such as JavaScript then you will need to remake those links completely.  Please read through the following thread for further information:
