I have updated my website to v12 with responsive design, and I noticed that videos are not re-sized in the smartphone 480px viewport. Please see my page in smartphone view at http://kurtyphotography.com/marissa-and-phillip.html
Your solution to the problem is greatly appreciated.

Hello Kurt,
Videos produced using Flash are not supported on mobile devices. Please see this FAQ:

You could consider converting your video file from SWF to MP4 format for maximum compatibility, as recommended in the help file:

Kind regards,

Hi Paul,
I tried externally linking both youtube and vimeo videos with two methods: 1)using the audio and video object with the URL link. 2)using the html object to embed the video. Both played fine in the desktop view, but did not resize in the smartphone view. I think that youtube and vimeo are in both swf and mp4 format. Do you have a solution to properly resize the videos that are linked or embed from an external source?
I've not had trouble with embedded media in the responsive viewports to date.
Can you please post a link to a YouTube or Vimeo file which you would like to use, so that we can investigate further and run some tests?
