Can you tell me how secure it is and how to increase the protection level without spending any extra money.
is there any level of security provided for the website and its content so that it doesnt get tampered by any hacker?

Probably depends on your server host's protection package

. . . that mostly depends on the providers you are using - some cheap ones dont have sufficient security on the servers . . .
Maybe you can look at it the other way around.
How intresting is your website information for a hacker ??
Even the biggest and most expensive secured sites get hacked.
Or the sites that have some kind of influence. So they are primary targets for hackers.
I ask again, whats special and where are you afraid of ? What can go wrong in worst case scenario. Maybe then your site is not that risky / worth securing ?
