Always uploading all sites - not just the adjusted ones

Hey all,
I'm sure this has come up before but the search didn't help a lot. So every time I upload, the whole project is uploaded. Not just the new or changed pages.
Just now, I just changed a link on one of my sites and it uploaded the whole project again. My website is growing and if that is going on like this, I have to find for something else. Upload changes go forever!
Can I manually "lock" pages somehow that the locked ones are ignored at upload?
Thanks!

If you are describing about uploading new changes then there is an option for it when you want to upload a project. You can tick to upload the whole website or the last modified files.
So if you want to upload only modified files, kindly tick the option and it will upload only modified once. and as for ignoring hidden file, i think it may be because of your hosting. Though, i have seen people who are using free hosting had such experience.. So if you are using free hosting then that may be the problem..

Hi,
thanks for your answer. Every time I have the option ticked, only to upload the modified files but it does not seem to work. Whenever I do an upload it uploads the whole project.
I didnt have that issue when I started with website X5. Then it worked fine and I didn't change my hosting.

... and I pay for my hosting...

Just updated my site again with one new page, modified only ticked, but uploads the whole page...
I guess you still have your license.. Try to uninstall the software and install it again.

Well... I bought V12 a couple of weeks ago, installed that fresh since I throught the new version would get rid of that problem. Imported the project and couldn't upload normally at all. Don't know how a reinstall would solve that problem since I actually never was able to use that feature since Version 11 anyways.
Sorry... it's just getting a bit frustrating.
I have had the same problem for ever. Not just altered pages uploaded, mostly but not always uploads the complete site. I think this is standard practice, they should look at it, not just come up with excuses.

I'm relieved you telling me this really... it is seriously slowing me down and when my page is getting bigger this is not a satisfying solution anymore.
I do agree to all. It's getting more and more worse.
You only change some text or add a new picture and the hole site is staged again and again and again.

I do not use the built in FTP
I save my project to a folder (web) which I created.
I then use Filezilla to upload with the options overwrite if newer, do this for all files.
