Gaps...  en

Hello everyone.

Hope you can help me. I am looking to have gaps between certain blocks of text. I have a background that features a large image so I would like to be able to put certain blocks in places that show the image to it's best effect. When I make a grid on the page. I put the blocks such as text, image and an email form leaving gaps. When I preview it the gaps are ignored and the blocks all together. Sometimes in not the most attractive display. Does anyone know of a way of making my blocks sit in a way I want them to appear

Thanks!

Adam,

It's best never to use empy objects or spaces and enters as object space.

Use the button inner and outer cell space on top in step 3 (where your grid is) to make use of the inner and outer margins to create space between objects.

If you get confused, give everything a colour so you can see what's happening, after getting correct margins remove the colour. I found  this method handy to get the hang of the margins)
