Hello. I'm usingX5 Pro 12. My shopping cart is set up for services so i have not set a "quantity available. Also i set it up to send order by email, not database

It all seems to work fine in preview but once published the cart displays blank

Also I can seem to find the cart widget anywhere.

Finally the ecommerce option does not show up on my online control panel, only the bliog and site test. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello Roger,

Your server is misconfigured.  This is why the shopping cart appears to work correctly in preview mode, but not online.

To illustrate further what I mean, please compare the following URLs:

http://m2cps.com/index.html

http://www.m2cps.com/index.html

http://milestonemanagement.net/index.html

http://milestonemanagement.net/home.php

Which one should be the real point of entry to your website?

Make sure you have entered the correct WebSite Address (URL) in Step 1 General Settings.

I strongly recommend that you decide whether you prefer the www or non-www version, then set up a 301 redirect in the .htaccess file on your server to point one to the other.

Can you explain further what you mean by the "cart widget"?

The reason you do not have an ecommerce option showing in your online control panel is because you have selected to send orders via email, as opposed to using a database.  Orders can be handled in the online control panel only if the option 'Send data to a Database' has been selected:

Kind regards,

Thank you Paul.

My question on the lqidget was referring to some way to display a shopping cart link on the page that shows the number of items in it abd links to a full view of it, without adding the shopping cart page itself to the website page menu
