Mp4 audio on i-phone  en

I have mp3 audio on my website which will not work with the i-phone. I noticed many suggestions to use mp4 instead. I've replaced a few mp3's with mp4's but still cannot get it to play on an i-phone. Sometime it pulls up the start screen but never begins play. It seems all the PC browsers work fine with either.  Basically, I'm just looking for a format to work across the board. I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

Hello Barry,

Which exact codec did you use for these mp4 files?

Try to use as audio codec  MPEG-4 AAC 441000Hz Stereo

Can you pleaee also write me the link to the website?

Many thanks!

Thank you for the reply. The website is freetownroad.com. The audio under the sermon section has been converted to MP4. The other audio is still MP3. I've tried your suggested audio codec but I seem to have the same problem. I've tried using Nero and Wondershare Video Converter to recode. When I try the audio on my I-phone it starts to play for a few seconds and stops.

Thank You

Hello Barry,

It took longer to load since every files is 20mb but it was playing. Did you set it to costant or variable bitrate?

I see also it is set to 480000khz. try to set it to 441000khz and to constant bitrate and then test it again by waiting it ws been all loaded.

Many thanks!
