Hello, I am very new to this so I am sorry if this is a silly question. I have (nearly) created a new website for our local church and wonder if there is a way that another person can view the preview browser (to see what they think of it) without having the software on their computer. Many thanks in advance for any advice.

Paul, you could upload your website to a temporary directory on your server, or perhaps go to step 5 and export website to disk. If you give your friend that directory on a cd or USB stick he/she will be able to double click on index.html and examine the site.

Hi there, Thanks for that - as I say, I'm new to all of this. At the moment I have no info about the web-hosting of the present website so am not sure of uploading to a temporary directory. I could export to disk no problem, but will this then allow someone else to be able to use the browser to change between pages? Thanks again, Paul.

If you export to disk, whoever you give it to will be able to see it as if it was uploaded to the web. Unfortunately you are the only one who can make changes unless your friend also owns a copy of X5 (and that starts a whole new range of questions as to who has the final copy of the site :-(
Better to simply show someone and make any requested/suggested changes.
