Comparison Chart, what's the difference between 'Standard' and 'Premium'?
Author: David E.Hi,
I'm considering the purchase of Website X5 as Xara has now changed its model to a hibrid subscription, very complex and not good for the customer.
I notice on the product comparison chart that instead of ticks against the function, some of the items have the product name i.e. 'Lite, Standard' and 'Premium'. I realise this is the version but why not just a tick? Does it mean that the function is less somehow in 'Standard' than in 'Premium' or do they both have exactly the same functionality. Here's an example of what I mean. On the comparison chart in the 'Content's section it has the following:
Customization options - Lite - Standard - Premium
Why not just have ticks in the boxes or does it mean that each product has slightly different levels of Customization options? If so, how do I find out what the differences are? Hope you can help, many thanks.
Kindest regards
David
Hello David,
The best way to fully and clearly understand the differences between the features in each edition is to compare the help files:
http://help.websitex5.com/en/v12/evo/index.html - Evolution
http://help.websitex5.com/en/v12/pro/index.html - Professional
The Home edition is a very basic edition which lacks many of the more advanced features.
The comparison chart is only intended to offer a brief and compact overview.
If you have specific questions as to whether or not a feature is implemented in a certain edition then feel free to ask us and we will assist.
Kind regards,
Paul
