Tracking Avalablity at the Sub-options level 
Author: Craig G.I am doing an e-commerce web site for a company selling e-Cigarettes and e-Liquid, the problem is how track availablity of items at the sub-option level. For example, e-Liquid is sold flavour in three different size (main option level attibute), each size have a different price and weight. Each flavour also has a different level of nicotine (sub-option level attribute), 0 mg, 3 mg, 6 mg, 8 mg, 12 mg, 18 mg and 24 mg and amount of nicotine has no bearing on the cost or weight. Is it possible to track the quantities at the sub-option level, nicotine level? The company has 8 Strawberry flavour 10 ml, 12 mg and 4 Strawberry flavour 30 ml, 8 mg, the fact that there are 12 Strawberry flavour without any idea of volume or nicotine level is meaningless.
So is the any way to track the items at the sub-option level?

At the moment it is not possible to have this feature in WebSite X5. I would like to suggest that you open an "Idea" Post where you describe to us the feature you would like to see implemented in the future releases of WebSite X5.
The only way to track the quantity of the products is to have it as separate product since the sub-options are seen as part of the quantity of the main product.
