I am using the full calendar object, but it is not working correctly. Check the calendar page at: http://www.proactiveparents.org on the "calendar page". The .ics file works if I import it into other calendars, but not on my website. I made sure the page type was php. Here is the link to the .ics file: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/***/public/basic.ics
Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Would sure love some detailed help. Thanks so much!

The adres for the website with your ics file is partly not visible.
Could you attach the ics file here in Answers? I would be happy to test if it works on the Calendar for you.
Or debug a little more:
How did you make the ics file ? If you use another program, just try with 1 appointment, does it work then ?
Thanks,
BR Andre

Here's the link to the .ics file:

Thanks Andre
Richard,
Th link is not correct, some text is hidden, this is caused by the forum. So I still can't read it.
Hello Richard,
The calendar is displaying the events correctly as I see on june but at the moment, if you have set to repeat them, it shows only the first one and you need to enter them separately since at the moment this function is not available.
Many thanks!

The calendar is not displaying anything at all (except for June, where it has a couple of very short times - in 24 hour format). Attached is the project file, and the typed URL for the ,ics file is below:
https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/***/public/basic.ics
Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions.

Claudio,
Are you saying that if I have a repeating meeting every week at the same time, taht I have to enter every meeting seperately? Does anyone know when that function will be available?
Thanks!
Hello Richard
I will strongly recommend, that You take a look at the luxcal calendar.
You can see it here : http://www.luxsoft.eu
This calendar is a thousand times better than the "full calendar".
It is a real calendar, where You online can set up users that are allowed to make events in the calendar. You can attach files and images to an event. It is a real calendar and not just a "dead" calendar as the "full" calendar that can only SHOW data.
If You are an experienced user, and You choose the Sqlite version, You can install the calendar in 10 minutes, and put it in an iframe on Your website in another 10 min.
The calendar is free, and the author gives an outstanding support.
It has a lot of functionality, and You can of course make recurring/repeating events, ( You can even edit one occurence in a serie - this is cool) and if You have one or more calendars, You want to import, the calendar can do that.
It can import from ics or csv files.
You can have different calendars for different users or groups, in the same calendar.
You can make bookings and let the system test/prevent for overlaps.
You can search, make lists, and and and.....
Give it a try - I guarantee You will be amazed of its functionality.
You can see the calendar on one of my sites : http://www.bramming-billard.dk/turneringskalender.html
The site is made in X5 and the calendar is made with an iframe. You can also see the same calendar as a "standalone" here : http://www.bramming-billard.dk/kalender/?cP=2
And the same calendar with a new view here : http://www.bramming-billard.dk/holdkalender.html
In this calendar new teams are not yet set in, but You can see data if You on the date-picker choose 8. jan 2016 ( You can also type in the date )
Try to hover over the events on 8. jan and 23 jan.
You can also include links in an event.
The luxcal site has a demo, where You can try to input data.
Kind regards
John

Yes, the LuxCal looks good. How does one load it into an X5-V12 Pro website. Does the zipped file create an object in X5? How does the customer of my created website make changes and additions to the calendar? Do they need X5 also, or is there a way they can edit it from their own PC without X5? How do I keep others that may be viewing the website from making changes to the calendar?
Thanks!
Hello Richard
I have just lost 60 lines of instructions I wrote to You I will now only write a short version- if needed You can ask for more instructions, and I will of course give the help I can.
The calendar is delivered in a very small zip-file ( under 1 MB )
You unpack it and read the instructions ( that is in the unpacked files ). You upload and start the calendar - when asked for You give in the admin name ( use admin ) password and mailaddress.
Now Your calendar is up and running.
You install it in Your X5 by making a page with a html code object.
In here You put the calendar as an iframe.
That's all You have to do.
About Your questions : Users does only need a PC ( or tablet ) with a browser, to use the calendar.
Users can be created in the calendar. You can also set it up, so users can selfregistrate. You have full control over what users should have access to. You can set it up so public users can't even see the calendar, or only see certain things, as event title and event times.
You can configure categoris so that some users can see certain categories, but can't edit these categories, and other users can see other categories and edit some of these.
Again - You will be amazed what the calendar is capable of.
Kind regards
John
Hello Richard
Why have You given me thumbs down to my post where I have the links to one of my calendars ?
Kind regards
John
Author
John,
I don't remember ever giving a "thumbs down". Please give me the link where this happened. If I did, I didn't mean to, and I'm sorry.
Regards,

Hello Richard
It is in this thread.
Very strange - when not logged in, all seems to be normal. When logged in, I see an extra post. It looks like some of the other post I have made, but it appears as a post with a thumbs-down sign.
I have attached a snapshot. I think it must be a bug in INCOMEDIA's forum-system.
I hope You will only give thumbs-up's to me.

Helo John,
The content of it has been moved to the previous one since it was part of it and then hidden to keep it more clear.
Many thanks!

Back a couple of weeks, John wrote the following about Lux Cal calendar:

I followed the instructions and created a calendar, which works very well. Now I need to put it into my project website. I created a page and put the HTML object in the page, but I don't know where to go after that. Where do I get the HTML code to put into the page? I do not know how to put it in as an iframe. Could you give me the step by step instructions for this?
Thanks so much for the suggestion that I use LuxCal, as it seems like it will work very well. Now if I can just get it into the website.

Richard Carey
Hello Richard
I have made a description for You ( and other X5 users ) here :
http://www.calendarforum.dk/integrating-iframe-x5.html
I had to have Claudio open this post again, as it was marked as "solved" and therefore closed.
You are very welcome to mark this post as "useful".
If You mark it as "correct", it will be closed again, so if You have further questions I will not be able to answer - so please mark as "useful" ( if it is useful) .
Kind regards
John Schwartz
PS On the site You will find more, very useful, information, about the calendar.
