Hi, I have just purchased Website X5 V12 and downloaded it with no problem. However, when installing the software I keep getting an error message, which reads "An error occurred while running the program. Please reinstall the program. (Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.)
My system is Windows 10 64-Bit, 1TB HDD, 16GB RAM.
I would be grateful for any advice or guidance you could give.

Hi, Just to update, I tried to reinstall the program as per the last error and received a different error this time. This states..... An error occurred while running the program. Please reinstall the program. (Could not load file or assembly 'CefSharp.Core.dll' or one of its dependencies. Not enough storage is available to process this command. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070008)).
Again, I would be grateful for any advice or guidance you could give.
Many thanks!
it s possible to be an incompatibility with some win10 version...
try to install all updates of win 10, then install last version of .NET framework from microsoft site, then try to install again x5.
if still doesn t work, it s a big problem...

Hi G.CONSTANTIN,
Many thanks for your response. Windows 10 is fully up to date and I have downloaded and installed the .NET Framework. I have also made sure that the .NET features are enabled by using the "Turn Windows features on or off" in the Control Panel.
I am completely stumped on this!
Thanks again for your comments.
Kind regards
Hello Neil, take a look at these posts, as others have had the same problem. You can also do a search for "CefSharp". One of the kind moderators or someone else will most likely check in and the Incomedia crew is not in until Monday.

Hello Neil,
Try to follow this procedure:
Download the Visual C++ 2013 installer available on following link (you need to download the x86 version also if the OS is 64bit):
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784
In case this should not help try to use before this repair tool http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135 and then try again to start WebSite X5.
Please keep me updated!

Donald and Diego, Many thanks for your comments, they were very useful, although I have still had no success getting Website X5 to work.
Hello Claudio, Thank you for your response, but I have tried this method as it was in a post recommended by Donald B. I have tried so many variations of installing, uninstalling, rebooting, installing again and rebooting etc, but I still can't get the software to work. I fear if I don't find a solution I will have to request a refund. If you have any other suggestions, I willl be more than happy to give it a try!
Thanks again all for your input!
Regards, Neil
Neil
Have you tried downloading WX5 again - just in case the installer is the issue?
Since all else has failed, if that doesn't work you could run sfc /scannow and then chkdsk c: /r from an elevated cmd prompt to rule out file corruptions and hard disk issues.
Congratulations on your perseverance.

Hi Esahc,
Thanks for taking the time to post your comments. I have tried all of the above, but to no avail!! I have carried out all of the other suggestions 4 times now, but still nothing. You would think someone would have the answer to this problem, as I am not the only one having this happen to. Although, by the look of it, all the others have managed to get it working one way or the other!
Thanks again for your post Esahc!
Regards, Neil
A tough go Mister. I'm sure you're doing it, but is every secuity feature turned off including windows firewall when you download and install? Just a thought.
I have just done a clean, complete install of win 10, 64 bit on a hp i7. Going to load the latest version of pro 12. We'll see how it goes.
Donald
No problem with X5 pro 12 install.
During the install I was asked if I wanted to install MS C++ and if I did not the app might not run or have problems. I thought it asked about net. also. (To many tabs open in my brain today.)
I checked and C++ 2010(x86)10.0XXXX and 2012(x86)11.0XXXXX was installed with X5?!
C++ 2013 (x64-86) was already installed a week ago with the clean win 10 install.
Donald
Neil, I have run out of suggestions except perhaps installing wx5 as administrator if you haven't tried to do so already.

Hi Donald,
Yeah I have tried it with all the security features turned off. We must have a similar setup, as I am using a HP Touchsmart with i7 processors. Why will it not work on mine!! I also had the same message regarding the C++, which was installed during the setup. It will still not run though! I get the loading screen, which says Loading libraries, updating libraries, but as soon as it says "Opening the Main Window" it crashes and gives me the 'CefSharp' message.
Hi Esahc,
I have tried that as well I'm afraid.
Thank you both for sticking with me and offering your comments! I think I will hang on for a little longer and maybe see if I can find a variation of install, restart, uninstall, restart etc that might get it working, but I am hoping beyond hope that the Incomedi Gurus will find a solution and advise me accordingly. Failing that, it is going to have to be a refund me thinks! It is a pity, as I was really looking forward to using the software!
Thanks again all!

Hello Neil,
Please pay particular attention to the wording of the second part of the error message:
Not enough storage is available to process this command.
It is true that the first part of the error message refers to Visual C++, and most users have managed to solve CefSharp issues by following the advice which Claudio posted.
However, in your case the message is unique and different. Some preliminary research leads me to believe it is a Windows issue, quite a rare and complicated one, but one which can be overcome by making some changes to the registry.
I encourage you to do some Google searches on the exact wording of the error message.
Are you attempting to install within a virtual machine, or on a shared or network drive, or any other scenario which might involve complex user permissions/access rights?
Kind regards,
Paul

Hi Paul,
Many thanks for your response.
I have been Googling so much with this, my fingers are bleeding!
There is no complicated network set up at all. It is purely my HP Laptop with a desktop backup drive, which I use on a weekly basis. I am just trying to install it to my C Drive, so no Virtual Machines, no complex user permission/user rights.
If you know what this Windows problem is, then I would be grateful if you could share how I go about resolving the issue. If you are talking about the IRPStackSize issue, then I have read about that as well and to be perfectly honest I don't think that has anything to do with this current problem. It isn't in the Registry tree of my machine and as I said, there is no complicated network here.
Once again Paul, thank you for your post and if you feel like sharing I am all ears!
Regards, Neil
I wish I had a definitive solution for you, Neil, but the error is not something I've encountered personally so I can only go on the clues we have so far, just like the others who have contributed to date.
It strikes me as extremely unusual that your error message is not one of the more common ones which we are used to seeing in the forum with regards to CefSharp, etc. - I honestly feel that this is important.
The only other user (which I am aware of) who had the same/similar error was Wayne G. in this thread:
https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/post/147302
Frustratingly, Wayne didn't get back in touch to confirm whether or not the issue was solved, but the very fact that he didn't might suggest that it was!
If you could clarify a few more details for us then it would be helpful:
Please keep us updated. We are all here to help as much as we possibly can.
Hey Neil
You check the registry after uninstall to see nothing of X5 is left. Most programs leave some junk, even the ones that say they clean the registry. Also run some searches checking for any left over files and folders.
Checking for the latest video driver and with the computer manufacturer for any updates or problems. Or problems with your computer make and model in general.
We have similar processors and OS except for desktop and laptop. So you might try disabling the touch feature, leaving the external drive unpluged and or using a regular mouse. I saw a similar problem was caused by an I/O error.
Have you tried loading on another computer or the trial verson? Also a full scan with norton or similar and a registry cleanup?
You probably have, just thought I'd mention it.
Donald
Neil, have you ensured that all other drives are disconnected during install? All USB sticks disconnected? I mention it only because I once had an issue where the package I was using placed all temp files on an external drive and the USB interface kept timing out and causing issues.
(sorry - snatching at straws now)
Hello Neil,
It could probably depend on the video driver which could cause the memory limit issue. Verify please if there is any update for the video card driver and proceed to install it and then test it again to see if you stil lreceive the same error.
Many thanks!

Hi Paul,
Many thanks for your continued support.
As far as having an extremely unusual error message goes, it could only happen to me!
In response to your questions. Yes, I fully and completely uninstalled the Demo versions. Yes, I am using the latest setup file. Yes, I been installing as administrator. Yes, I have tried to install with antivirus and firewall disabled. Lastly, it is curious you mention the number of fonts I have. Yes, I have a lot more than the average person would, mainly because as well as building the odd website here and there, I also create certificates etc. How would having a lot of fonts impact on installing Website X5 though? I would be really interested to know.
Thanks again Paul for taking the time out of your day to help me with this problem. I can assure you, your advice and guidance is really appreciated.

Hi Donald, Hi Esahc,
Thank you both for your posts. This answers both of your questions ... The only time I connect my external drive is when I do a full back up at the end of the week, the rest of the time it remains unplugged.
Donald, You make valid suggestions, but....... Yes I have thought of these potential problems, except the video adapter. Darn it!! I have only just checked both of my adapters the Intel HD Graphics 4600 had no updates, but the NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M had a new driver released in August this year. I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner! Thank you, both to you and Claudio for pointing it out! I will try it again to see if it makes a difference and advise you both.
Thanks again Donald and Esahc for your continued help and support.

Hi Claudio,
Many thanks for your post and support.
As I have just posted to Donald, I only just checked my video adapters after reading both yours and Donald's posts. I have now downloaded a new update to my NVIDIA card, so I will install it and try the Website X5 again. I will post on the results.
Thanks again Claudio, your help and guidance is appreciated.

Having a lot of fonts can cause memory issues, especially given that WebSite X5 is a 32-bit program. Version 13 will improve on this aspect because the software for the very first time will offer 64-bit optimized RAM usage.
I cannot say categorically that this is the solution to your problem, but you might like to try moving some fonts whilst attempting to install WebSite X5, then moving them back afterwards.
You can read a little bit more about the font/memory issue by searching the forum... for example:
https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/post/125151
Hey Neil, Paul may be on to something. Remember a 32 bit program only can access 4gb max. And that's minus the OS, anyother apps running and what the video card may be using.
So you might have the task manager open to check resources during install and opening X5 and see what's going on, if not done already.
I'm curious now, I have another box to load X5 on and I'm going to check. And of course, again with it off.
A few of us has been asking for a 64 bit program and X5 is coming thru next month.
Cheers Mate - Donald

Hi Paul, Hi Donald,
IT'S A L I V E! ! !
You guys are my absolute HEROES!!!
Moved some fonts (a couple of hundred) from the system folder to a folder on my documents library and thought I would give it a try, but it was obviously not enough as it crashed again, but this time there was no message about not enough storage. Instead a got a message saying there has been a problem and the program would close. I then moved another few and Hey Presto, IT WORKED!!
I can't thank you all enough for sticking with me! It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with you all. Thanks again peeps!
Warmest regards, Neil
Author
Just a quick question Paul. Should I move the fonts back now, or wait until Evo 13? Not that it matters that much though really, as if it crashes again after moving the fonts, at least I will have an idea of what is wrong!
Thanks again all for your FANTASTIC support!
Regards, Neil
Good, glad you got it working, Neil... welcome to the WebSite X5 community!
There should be no harm in moving the fonts back now: as you rightly point out you will know where to look first if you encounter any further freezes or memory issues.
Version 13 will be a tremendous step forward as far as memory management is concerned, and hopefully such problems will become a thing of the past.
Happy web designing
