I'm trying to get a feel of this program.  I'm in the process of a project, but I woul like all my text to be one font.  In this case Verdana.  Do I have to manually set this font for every text block I make?  Is ther a way to pick this font for the entire project?

You can set standards for fonts in step1 template style -> text style.

Use the pulldown menu to set standard fonts.

It could be that older objects need to corrected manualy. And you can always manualy change fonts.

just a tip:

If you need help in x5 then press F1 if you are in the part where you need help or assistance. The help file is pritty good.

Best Regards, Andre

Phil, you should also be aware that in choosing Verdana not everyone will see your website the way you layed it out. ie most people will have Verdana, but not all.

See this link http://web.mit.edu/jmorzins/www/fonts.html

Donald, I like to use a single font throughout my sites as well, but I like to use Roboto which few people have. To do this I download the font locally (it's a google font), set the default font as per Andre's post, then embed this code (supplied by google), in the header.

<link href='https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>

The result is invisible, easy, fast and consistent on any platform or OS. A site I am currently building uses this feature.

http://www.inverlochrotary.org.au and so does my personal website (www.esahc.com)
