Where is the Product Catalog Object check box?  en

Hello,

I am creating a shopping cart for my Website 5x Professional website.  The website has not been uploaded to the server yet, while I set up the site  After I add a product to my Product list, I try click preview and I get an empty page with the header, side menu and footer of my site.  I though perhaps this might be because I didn't check the Product Catalog Object box as it says in the online instructions, below:

The column in the left side of the window shows the Category and Product List inserted when the Shopping Cart was created in Step 4 - Advanced Settings.

There is a check box next to each category and product: click on the check boxes to add categories/products to the Product List you are creating. All the selected products are shown in the column on the right side of the window.

I cannot find any check boxes anywhere near the category or product entries.  Is there something wrong.  Was something changed in the program that was not updated in the instructions?  Please help, I am at a total loss as to what I must do.

Best regards.

Kurt Hiller

Hello Kurt,

The checkboxes are located as shown in the screenshot attached.

They will not appear unless you first add products in Step 4, as per the extract you quoted from the helpfile:

The column in the left side of the window shows the Category and Product List inserted when the Shopping Cart was created in Step 4 - Advanced Settings.

Having added products in Step 4 (Advanced Settings > Shopping Cart), you can then arrange your Product Catalog in Step 3, by ticking the checkboxes of the products which you wish to appear.

Hi Paul and Gabriele,

Thank you so much for straightening me out.  I was looking on the shopping cart page for the Product Catalog checkboxes.  Hopefully, I am on my way to building the Product Catalog.  Thank you both once again.

Best regards,

Kurt Hiller
