I have set up a basic template from scratch, chging the default colours from Blue header and Footer to Green, and the side bars also to Green.

This works fine on all pages when displaying on the desktop setting but as this is a responsive design as you change the size of the page it goes back to the defulat colours of Blue.

Does  anyone know what I have not done?

the site is www.jimart.co.uk

Thanks

Hello Peter,

Have you set up your Responsive Template Structure in addition to your Main Template Structure?

You need to create a separate header and footer for the mobile/smartphone viewport in accordance with the instructions in the WebSite X5 help file:

http://help.websitex5.com/en/v12/pro/index.html?responsive_ht.htm

http://help.websitex5.com/en/v12/pro/index.html?responsive_template.htm

You customise the responsive template in Step 1 General Settings > Template Style > Responsive Template Structure

Kind regards,

Paul

Hello, you must set the same color even in the responsive model, and not only in the desktop model. View the screenshot attached...

Right thanks you everyone, I had missed that step out, not realising that I would need to adjust the colours in the responsive section as well as the main template option.

can sort that now
