Same issue here. Same error and wikk not run.

when can we expect a solution or fix for this issue? frustrating to buy and not have it run. have tried all the above listed suggestions with no success in changing the error result to a program functioning and working correctly.

tried the latest suggestion regarding cmd.exe but that resulted in an error code 5.

For those people who received error code 5, try to do all again but run cmd as administrator.

Did try to run the program after running the cmd as administrator but got thr following error screen.

Is on your computer a program called lavasoft or webcompanion installed?
If yes uninstall it and then test it again.

before I delete can you tell me why?

well, I checked and it was an old version so I took a chance and deleted it. Ran the program and it appears to be working thus far. At least it fully opened...now to work with it and see what happens.
