The registration software crashes at startup  en

We found that some customers of WebSite X5 V9 encountered a crash while loading the registration software.

This may be caused by the lack of Microsoft .NET FrameWork 3.5 on your PC.

You can download it from: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=21

After the installation of .NET FrameWork, run WebSite X5 V9 again and proceed with the registration.

You must start updating your computers..... Turn on the updating facility in the Operating System. I reckon errors will be more prominent in older systems!! Remember we are now using new technology in HTML 5!!

I have to agree with Frank on this one, your most likely to run into errors with windows xp and vista then windows 7 just remember to keep updating your operating systen so you don't miss out on important updates

yeah i kinda went to the store before they'd finished updating everything and half of the option were not there at the time but all sorted now and now i'm upgraded to V9 so all good.

Btw when i did the registration thing using Win7 it did come up with the "not responding" thing but as we all know with Win7, if you wait long enough it'll sort itself out.

I'm talking mainly about the Service Packs where these net framework updates lie, users are still trying to use outdated systems!!

Hello Rita,

I see that there are no licences registered to your account. Are you using the correct email to login on Answers and unlock the software?

Moreover, try to remove the file "licence.iwl" contained into the software's folder and run WSX5. This will run the registration software again and let you type the correct registration data.

If the above procedure doesn't work, try to install the software in your documents folder. This will let the software to get all the permissions needed to run properly.

Keep me informed.

Thank you!
