[Row background BUG?] Color overlay on top of video but not on top of image  en

Hey guys!

I was cheking a topic I made the other day about overlaying a color on top of an image when used as a row background (to make text more readable) and I think I may have discover some kind of bug.

When inserting a video as a row background we can add a color overlay/filter in order to put some text on top of it and make it readable, when inserting an image we can see the same color + opacity option that video has, but in this case it only puts a color as a background of the image not the top undecided (why's that when the image is supposed to be filling the row?) so it's useless.

Any comments? if not a BUG, can it be modified to allow this more useful option?

The old topic I made when asking for this is the following: https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/en/post/156006

When we go to edit the row background, we can select COLOR, IMAGE or VIDEO, when we select video we also have the option to add a color overlay, for example black with an opacity of 40 so the video looks darker and we can put some white text on that cell... when we select image, the same option is available, but it does nothing to the image.

I made an example, but the program crashed and deleted the project undecidedundecidedundecided

Regards!

Hello Luis,

For the image the function is different since you add a color which is as background ima case the image is smaller and then you set the transparency to the image but no overlay.

Many thanks!

Bummer, I thinks that having the option to overlay a color + opacity on top of an image would be agreat addition, but I gues that nobodyelse thinks the same.

Anyway I hope it gets implemented since it's very useful and similar apps already do it.
