Paste special from Word to text - line spacing problem  en

I was trying to copy a text with some formatting from Word to the text of a website page.

I used Paste Special, since I read it transfers the original formatting from the text under copy.

Unfortunately it appears to me that it does not support the line spacing, under paragraph copying.

Am I wrong?

Furthermore does a line spacing function exists under the page text formatting?

Thanks for the helps

Angelo

Variable line spacing is not implemented in WX5 because I believe it would "break the rules".

I have NEVER been successful copying from word, I ALWAYS copy to notepad, and then back to WX5. This gives me maximum control over formatting that will be consistent across all browsers.

Yeah...that'a a big limitation when pasting text, the "paste special" option is useless and we must always use the copy from a TXT file in order to avoid errors and bugs.

Thanks for the two answers

The above is a big limitation for the Professional Edition, in particular since in the specs,as per Help summary, the command Paste special is said to mantain the formatting! Simply not true!

Even the fonts are not mantained. I am not hapy with that. I hope this will be solved with the next update of WebSite X5

Hello Angelo,

The line height at the moment is set automatically by the program and cannot be changed. This is a setting the program is not allowing to change since for the readability it has been set this standard line height.

Many thanks!
