I need to change the file name of one of the pages on my site. I am running Evolution 11. The content of this page refer to a particular year - eg events 2016. I have now changed the page to have events in 2017, but the file address when the page is displayed still says events2016 even though the actual page completely refers to 2017. Some people find this confusing, so I would like to change the file name to show it is 2017.

This is done in Step 3 in X5 13 Pro, it should be very similar in Evo 11 I should think. See attached image.

Thanks James, but this does not work in V11. I have renamed the page already, but the old file name remains after the upload.

Alf, in my experience it is not necessarily a bad thing to have the old page remain on the server. If anyone has bookmarked it they will at least bring up the old page (with a link to the website menu) rather than a not found error. As Serg say, you can simply delete it from the upload directory, but will also need to remove it manually from your public_html folder if you want it absolutely gone.

Hello all - I have found the answer. On the Map Creation page (step 2 in V11) you highlight the page in question, then click on the properties box. That gives a screen which shows the file name - which is amendable. Change that, get to the upload process, upload, and the web site will show your amended file name. Simple!
