Version 13 takes forever(!) to "Create Project files."

Unlike the previous version (v. 12), the newest version 13 is entirely unusable by me as it takes forever for it to "Create Project files." I'm extremely unhappy with it because of this!
What do I do now?

I have the same problem
Anton, do you have unnecessarily large images as part of your website (ie larger than the highest resolution they will be displayed at)? I resampled and replaced all my images and the performance is very good.

Maybe, but the issue here is about how fast version 12 loads them up compared to version 13. And to think that version 13 is supposed to be the better version!
I believe that users should not have to worry about image resolutions and such.
Me either Anton, but I got sick of waiting.

I hope someone hears us and does something about this. Is it a bug? It should be fixed. Or else a refund is in the offing.

Well, in my case I always optimize the pictures, for example, a full width main image never has to be larger than 320kb and so the rest of the images are always left in no more than 200kb, but X13 PRO is struggling a lot to create the project (sometimes it takes almost double than x12 takes for a simmilar web)
I have an i5 + 8GB of ram, Windows10 pro and other more demanding programs run perfectly fine.
