hi everybody I'm putting a picture when I'm designing website sample 1 picture Then in the image folder Copies one hundred copies from the same picture  The size of the site grows for this reason what should I do

sample name of the images test.png after in the folder test_0by5796c.png more than 100 images

can you help me please

What dates are with the picture and where did you set it?

it's normal that x5 makes a lot of copy's it's needed for responsive and other features icon pictures and so on, it depends also on the object where you use it and the size you start with.

Else please make a prtscrn of the folder with the names and file sizes and dates.

But I would not worry about it. Enless its taking up GByte's....

I solved the problemWhen i upload pictures  To my incomedia folder in my documentsMaking 1 copy ,And then if I change the shape of that image to the size and upload it again ,Making a copy under another name  And then it makes copies every time  And the file size is growing  If you delete it from the main folder And if you just leave the last picture you made in the folder and the upload to ftp  Problem is solved  ı hope I could explain  Project with 85 mb now 4.7 mb

Thanks for sharing this,

Keep in mind that some of these are needed for thumps and on different viewports, so if you remove files check that the pictures are correct in your website on every viewport and in thumps galleries / pop ups etc. again in all viewports.....

I personally never watch the files that x5 mades, once in a while (cause I upload and remove items) I clean the webpage at my host and let x5 do a full upload.

Try to keep pictures used in a reasonably file size, the bigger the longer x5 needs to narrow the pictures down to a reasonably size.
