When I started, I thought there were no limits on page counts.  At least, I found none in the literature discribing Evolution software.  After I acquired software and invested time learning how to use and develope a site, I started to build a replacement site for my wife, as part of the US Genweb Project hosting free geneological information available for Fountain County Indiana, USA.  I have spent 6 months of retirement, entered 9,000 plus pages (Takes 8.5 hours to save) trying to get this site ready to upload, and replace the current offering.  I had to start over once, because the pull down menus created files to large, they were re-created with links (savings 98% of file size).  Now, I am told that I need to do this again to have sub-sections less than 500 pages all linked together.

This is nice.  Is this in PDF Manual?  Any on-line instructions? Does the program help with this? What other new bomb shells are waiting for me?

As a follow up:

I would like to know how this is accomplished.  I see the advantages in the smaller project sizes.  I waste more time now waiting for the "SAVE" process to complete.  This one project I am currently working on may become 20 to 30 smaller projects when it it broken up.

Looking foeward to new knowledge!

Hello James,

There's no limit on the number of pages and this is an information shown to inform you the project is exceeding the 500 pages and you can simply select to not show it again.

You can continue to work on your project but it would be useful for you to have it separated in more projects so you will just open the project containing the section you want to edit instead to work on the entire project. This can be done anytime by making copies of the project so you will not loose the work already done where in each copy you leave only the pages you want to have in the section.

This would improve the work speed and you would be able to save and export the project faster online.

Many thanks!
