Author: Akram Najjar

I added a page and added the Discussion Object to it.

When I ran it, the website gave the attached error

(Invalid argument supplied for freach() , etc . . . )

Note that I accepted X5's offer to change the page to a php.

Thanks

Hello Akram,

Can you please write me the link to your website so I can see on what it depends?

Is the blog on your project active and does it contains entries?

Many thanks!

Thanks Claudio

1) The error i attached before is not appearing. Could be my fault.

2) I tried the Facebook and the Disqus protocols. They work well. But when I used the X5 Comments Protocol, I could fill the comment but could not send it. (Error attached).

3) How can I reduce the large font in the article titles? There is no font size in the BLOG configuration. Also, my default web font is gadugi 12 so this is much larger.

Here is my blog http://www.marginalbooks.com/mb/blog/

THanks a lot

Dear Claudio

Can you please respond to my problem?

I keep getting an error (attachment above) whenever I press SEND for a comment in a BLOG page. This uses the X5 comment protocol. (The Facebook and the Disqus protocols work well).

Thanks

Sorry I have confused you. Here is the same response to my other post.

The website is www.thehiddenpaw.com and the page is DISCUSSION. Also, try www.thehiddenpaw.com for the BLOG.

Question 1: Why cannot I see the text in the DISCUSSION (X5 protocol)?

Question 2: Why does the email fail after sending from DISCUSSION?

Question 3: Why does the Facebook comment list look so faint? I have nowhere to configure that.

Question 4: Why do I get OBJECT INVALID when I post a Facebook comment!!

All the bet

Akram

Dear Riccardo: let us get to the bottom of this. Forget the problems with the BLOG object. I am not using that. I am now only using the DISCUSSION object. Since I am continuously testing / updating my site, I cannot promise to give you the examples you need. So, I am attaching a WORD document with the problems and the questions.

Hope you can respond today (Friday), as I plan to do a lot of work in the weekend.

All the best and thanks

Hello Akram,

Can you please write me the link to the page where you have the discussion object so I can check it?

Did you set the correct url in step 1 in the project?

Many thanks!

Dear Riccardo

I sent you a WORD document and posted a ticket yesterday which I cannot see. Here goes again.

The website is www.marginalbooks.com and go to the DISCUSSION menu under which there is only one page called MCS 1 ARTICLE SIMULATING STATISTICAL PROCESS CONTROL SPC ---- OR go directly to:

http://www.marginalbooks.com/mcs-article-1--simulating-statistical-process-control--spc-.php

You can see the faint FB comments.

Question 1: how to configure them using my colors so they can be more legible.

Question 2: why does it take a long time to show the comments once you browse to the page

Question 3: On a page where we are posting a comment for the first time, you get the error I showed you in the WORD document "Object Invalid Value". (Attached again).

Thanks

Hello Akram,

Thank you for the link. The comments are loaded from the facebook server and it is not possible to style them since it's an iframe in which these are loaded.

It takes some time since only once the page has been completely loaded then the comments are loaded from the facebook server.

About the error you receive this seems to depend directly from the facebook server and not from the program. Probably it will be solved by facebook itself soon.

Many thanks!
