Android - text size is different on each mobile browser  en

The text size changes when the site is opened on the different mobile browsers.

Standard Android Internet browser - excellent

Android Chrome - excellent

Android Firefox - too small

Android Dolphin - too small

Android Opera - tiny, terrible

Android UC browser - excellent

All browsers on windows 10 - perfect

The still is still under construction - I do not use resposive design because I do not like it.

How can I maintain a constant text size?

If you check another site, do you then also have these differences?

usually it is browser (settings) related.

http://www.nationalparkspain.com ?

Can you create a temporasry site? (upload it to a temp directory so we can look?)

Whilst I am sure you have concerns, I would be happy to look using various browsers (inc Opera), it is a bit hard to agree or disagree without an example. I would be very surprised however, if any responsive site you created with WX5 was not better than your current non-responsive site when viewed on a mobile or thru google's search algorith.

My experience is the same and this came all from browser, one android version I had another browser and installed a few others as well, they all showed up differently on several websites. Some you can set some standard font some not.

A few looked really awfull. I think X5 sends same info for viewports to the browser, but I could be mistaken, that's why I asked you to test other websites as well.

The incomedia sites are all the same.

I have standard browser settings, as has everyone.  I have tried different devices and the result is the same.

The text does not compensate in Responsive Design mode either and the result is the same.

Can I add code in to compensate?

...online but no good yet

I have increased the body text to from 16 to 18 pt - this helps when the text was tiny ( in Opera for example) but it makes the text too large in other browsers.

Hello Michael,

I tested the website in chrome mobile and firefox mobile and it the text appears the same size.

For opera mini this happens because of the data saving function. When you disable it then it appears correctly. This function is loading the site on the opera server and then transfers it to your device which probably causes this issue.

Many thanks!
