Is it possible to add the blog to the locked pages or is there another way to restrict the access to the blog to members only?

Yes you can.

Goto step3, special pages, select blog there, set the icon on top to lock the blog select the users that can acces.

That's it. (it works only online)

In step 3, special pages, when selecting 'blog' none of the icons on top become active, so it is not possible to select the 'locked page' icon. (Also for the item 'blog' in menu the icons on top are inactive).

The locked icon should be able to set te others not.

you need to set the mouse pointer on the blog under the special pages menu.

I have tested this and it works i could not login in online.

have you made accounts in acces management? maybe this needs to be set first?

I downloaded the free demo of the professional version and there the locked page icon is active for the blog. It seems that in the evolution version, which I am using, this function is not available.

You are correct, I did not expect it, but there is a difference regarding the lock for EVO to pro.

see help file:

With the Professional  edition of WebSite X5  you can restrict access to the blog to registered users who have a login and password. Select the special blog page in the map and use the command to set it as a locked page (see Step 3 - Map).

Sorry about that, at least you got an answer, now it's up to you.

Best Regards
