Writing a web site for a retirement village. Is there a simple way for the social committee to access their page on the site and upload social events to the site without me having to do it ??

You can use the "Dynamic Content" object. The contents of this area can be adapted directly with the user name and password in the published homepage. For this purpose, read the help!

JJ.Juag is right: you can use the Dynamic Contect Object if you want to achieve this result. Still, I can see you only own WebSite X5 Evolution 12, and unfortunately this function is not avaiable for this version. I kindly sugegst you considering an upgrade to WebSite X5 Professional 13.
