Fotios, if you click on your login name and select download (or select my profile and then download), you can download a full installation copy. If there has been an issue with the update, this hopefully will fix it.

I did what you said but it did not change anything. The application does not open. I did a system restore to a date before which the problem occurred, but again I did not see any difference. I have a serious problem because i have to deliver some websites. I disabled kaspersky but again nothing happened.

Fotios, I am sorry, I do not know what to recommend to assist. Sadly I have had experience with System Restore failing me as well.

You could try create a new user account (as a temporary measure), go to control panel, user accounts, manage another account, add a new user in PC Settings, add someone else to this PC, I don't have this persons sign in information, add a user without a microsoft account, give it a name (NewUser) - (I would not assign a password or hint at this stage).

A new local account will then be created. Click on NewUser, change acount type to administrator.

If you now log off and log on as NewUser you could try and install WX5, if the problem is only with your current profile, the program should install in the new profile.  You could then use Windows Explorer to copy the project or import the iwzip from the old account.

If this does not work I am totally at a loss and can only hope that a more knowledgeable moderator or an Incomedia Expert can step in and assist.

Good luck - I look forward to finding out if this helped.

(this NewUser is easy to remove if it does not provide the solution)
