Configerror when opening the program  en

When I try to open the program, it does not work.

I get the message: There has been an error, while the program was active. Please reinstall the program (configerror).

I then removed the "old" program and reinstalled it. But I get the same error.

What do I do?

Please try and reinstall the program as administrator and install these Visual C++ and .Net Framework:

Hello Marjon, 

I am sorry about that.

Please try and create another Windows user, then log in with the new user and start the program, you should be able to open and use it properly after that.

Hello Elisa,

I did everything like you said; created a new user, logged in and downloaded the program again. I then opened a backup. I could open the program, but then I got an error again. Nothing works anymory, I cann't work on a project and the program will not close anymore. If have to turn of my laptop to close the program.

Hello Marjon, 

In this case please try to uninstall the program and then delete the content in following folder on your computer:

C:\Users\ YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME \AppData\Local\Incomedia\WebSite X5 v13 - Professional

In case you annot find this folder in your computer open a folder and then in the address bar paste following:

%localappdata%\Incomedia\WebSite X5 v13 - Professional

Once done install the program again and test if then it works.
