Incomedia has released bad (Beta) update of the WebX5Evolution 13.1.2.10. which totaly erased more than 90% of all my products' pictures and their detailed descriptions in My Shop menu!
I didn't have problems which Incomedia wrote as a Changelog reason for that update, but have got exactly these problems when I updated.
Now it takes too many days for a few sentences of any answer from the Help Center without getting neither a solution how to retrieve back my Website design, nor how will compensate me.

Have you tried saving the project as an iwzip and then importing from the saved iwzip to create a new project?
This might (should?) fix the problem if the pictures are still in your project but not visible in preview.
If you have previously uploaded your website via the built in FTP engine, you should also have a backup in the project directory you can restore.
If it was me I would make a copy first. Then I would have the option to restore the project to version 13.1.1.9 of WX5 (if version 13.1.2.10 continues to be problematic for you). I am sure someone on the helpcentre can guide you to a copy if you ask.
My apologies if this is a repeat of previous advise offered to you, your original post is private so I cannot read it.
Good luck.

Dear moderator Esahc,
I have explained to Claudio from your Help Center in another chatt ticket 5 days ago, but no answer, no solution how to retrieve back my design, and he has made that ticket Private. You as a moderator should be able to see that?
Namely, I was always saving my webdesign as a template after every Preview, and also exported as my IWZIP file. The last time I have done that was on Wednesday, last week.
I wasn't subscribed to use Beta updates, because I newer use betas for any software. They are uncertain of having "bugs".
On Thursday I updated to 13.1.2.10, because wasn't written it was Beta update, and because I got a Notice from Incomedia that the previous versions are "making problems with the size of pictures, grid line, etc...".
But, when I upgraded and opened my template I have seen that more than 90% of my product pictures and their descriptions written in a Message Box as a link in the pictures, disappeared. Only in one segment of My Shop page all 6 pictures were left!!! Funny. Why not there? Then, I closed WebX5 Panel and opened my last week exported IWZIP file, but the upgrade has done the same in the Preview.
Claudio has asked me to send him (you, Help Center) wia www.wetransfer.com that IWZIP file and I have sent to *** but he didn't even downloaded that. Please, find it as DresShop.iwzip sent from my mail ***.
That DresShop name is a very nice Template I bought to use for my web design. I still didn't change to the name of my site.
Personally, I think no one in your Help Center knows how to get back my pictures and descriptions, that's why Claudio gives no answer and no solution for 5 days, now.
Dear Esahc, I don't know how to restore my FTP Engine to previous version of Website X5 Evolution?
Best regards
Slobodan
Hi Slobodan
As a moderator I have the wonderful ability to edit my own posts, but that's about it. I (like you) can not read private posts.
You have not installed beta software, v13.1.2.10 was merely tested on the beta channel, and when everything was checked off it was made available as a full update.
I am sure Claudio will contact you again shortly, they've had a weekend and a public holiday to deal with since you last updated your post.
If you wish me to, I would be happy to open your iwzip on my PC to check if the same thing happens. As you will see above, the helpcentre will not allow anyone to see private email addresses for security reasons, so if you would like to send me the iwzip via wetransfer you will find my address here http://esahc.com/contact.html
Or, if there is somewhere I can retrieve the iwzip from, please advise by emailing me directly (or use my contact form).
If (as you suggest) the problem is specifically caused by v13.1.2.10, hopefully someone will provide a link to 13.1.1.9evo and you'll be able to install it and continue developing your project.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Gordon Esahc, I have sent via wetransfer.com my GaleaPrKozm.iwzip file just now.
Have you opened above given my zip file (with my video) to see how empty My Shop page is? :)
For you information, please notice that Claudio has told me on Monday that I upgraded from 13.1.0.5 to 13.1.2.10.
Personally, I don't remember what was the version I have been using prior the latest upgrade, but I have told you, whenever I got a notice from the FTP engine about new standard upgrade I had upgraded, but never when was written that there is any Beta release.
Claudio has told me that I should have done every update, and that's not true. No one programmer would never say that. So, because Claudio downloaded my IWZIP just now and didnt give me any further helps, can I change that chatt to another who knows the answers ?
Also Gordon, I think I should open new ticket to your HR Managers to ask for the compensation because of problems your incompetent programmers have made with the last update. I have heavy headache since last Friday whenever I remember what I should do again to post my picture products and their descriptions.
Best regards
PS: Have you seen that in many forums people are saying that your Help Center is incompetent and too slow... Pity I haven't seen that before I bought your Theme and the Credits for plugins (objects). Sorry to write that to you who is a moderator, not the HR Manager.
Slobodan
Thanks for the iwzip, yes I have received it and opened it. Sadly I see what you see, missing images. I have contacted someone to see if they still have an EVO V13.1.0.5 installable (sadly I do not), I will keep you informed. If you can reinstall the old version at least you'll know if the images were originally in your iwzip.
I wish to confirm I don't know the answers and wish I knew half what Claudio does, my limited knowledge comes from using WX5 and reading far too many posts on the helpcentre. I am not an employee of Incomedia, I am just a user. I was only "promoted" to moderator recently.
The helpcentre has it's shortcomings but they revolve around "not enough hours in the day". That is why users like myself step in and provide answers if we think we know them. I live in Australia, my work day is when most of Incomedia's staff and the majority of moderators are probably sleeping. As a user I dreaded waiting 2-3 days for support. If you look through the helpcentre I doubt you will see many posts which remain unanswered for more than 24hours (even if only by users like myself :-)
PS I would love a better search engine and if I could be notified by email when a post I was watching or contributed to was updated that would be stunning.
I'll be in touch mate.

Ok, thanks Gordon (isn't that typical nice Aussie's male name?)
Claudio has given me some answers just an hour ago telling me how to Recover with previous version, but in that case I should never use any update again because I might lose my design? I'll see what he'll answer about that?
Evolution 13 upgrades shouldn't make disasters but improvements, right?
And no one answer anything how will Incomedia compensate me this ignorant upgrade made to me, my time and my headaches... :) Like saying: Oh sorry it was a joke with the ugrade. Will not in future...
My best regards to you and your lovely Continent and country.
Slobodan
Every update released has been to squash bugs, it is yet to be seen if a bug in 13.1.0.5 was the reason for your problems.
Good Luck :-)
PS Do you still need V13.1.0.5 or have you managed to get a copy?
Please find the old version of website x5 evo 13 v13.1.0.5 here https://www.dropbox.com/s/ycekjat1yg2ljmu/wsx5_ev%2813%29.exe?dl=0

Thanks Jamie, but does it mean that I have to uninstal my Incomedia and to reinstal then x5 evo 13 v13.1.0.?
And then never again to update?
Regards
S.G.
Slobodan
Download and install the old version and if all your pics return your site will be maintainable. Then we can look at why there is an issue and hopefully work out how to upgrade without further losses.
Slobodan
I installed V13.1.0.5 and imported your iwzip. Sadly the images were missing.
Did you have any better success (perhaps because you had the images in places on your PC where WX5 expected to find them)?
Author
Gordon please tell me, Does it mean I have to uninstal my Web X5 Evolution with this last update and then to install it with the older update v13.1.0.5 and then to import my IWZIp file from before the last update?
But I will lose my rights to open the WebX5 Evolution 13 with my purchase key, or it'll be the last time I have a right and then I'll have to extend the purchase time rights?
Regards

Dear Gordon,
I decided not to deinstall the latest update and to instal the WebX5 Evolution v13.1.0.5 version. In that case I'll always have fear to update in future. Specially because Claudio in our first Ticket has told me that Incomedia has found what was the bug making that problem and that they have changed that. If they have changed, where is that new update which should be named as 13.1.2.11, I presume?
I tested this update 13.1.2.10 by reposting 3 pictures again, saving them "by the Preview" only, closing WebX5 Evolution 13 panel, and reopening it again to see if these pictures still stays as I have posted. I repeated that 3 more times by adding 3 more pictures. And in the end all 9 pictures I have new posted are still there... Yessss! Happy me! Thats better solution then to work with the old update. I attached you some parts of my site's Screencapture, to see what was there missing, but it is not all of the picture that were deleted by the update.
I didn't post their Descriptions in a Message Boxes, that I'm gonna do today and tomorrow because that's very important part to attract customers, not only nice pictures are enough.
So Gordon, no one from Help Center including Claudio, says anything about compensating me because of the additional work I have to do now with my web site design again, and because Incomedia learned immediately from my problem was their bug in that update... I'll start writing on Wednesday next week because of 1. May Holiday in Europe, if no compensation is given to me... I'm very serious about that and it'll be a pleasure to write that Incomedia is releasing unsecure updates... Thanks to Google Translate I'll translate that opinian to every language of any Forum in the World. Even Chinese biggest market
Best regards
Good luck with that Slobodan. IF someone at Incomedia has admitted they found an issue, it does not mean it was malicious, it just means that on discovering the problem they did everything in their power to rectify it. I opened your project in 13.1.0.5, on my PC the damage was already done because the images were missing, perhaps on your system they would have still existed and could have been transferred through interim updates. I guess we shall never know :-(

Thanks for wishing me Luck, Gordon, because I've GOT BACK all my pictures descriptions for every picture I have reposted, though, many of these pictures I have moved now to be in a separate folder having names of my products in My Documents! I simply don't understand how and why that happend, but I'm thankfull to my good Luck. Now it seems I can eagerly continue to finish my website design. You can imagine how happy I am now if you could imagine how angry I was when everyting had dissapeared last week... Here I attach a Screen Capture of the first product Description... :)
In Europe now, we have weekend and 1st of May Holiday, and then maybe I'll get another answer from Claudio. Namely, with the last update Incomedia has made more narrow choose of intro-video types you can use; Only *.mp4, *.ogg and *.webm, thouh earlier we had more, amongst them were also *.flw as possibility.
Why is that problem for us, users of WebX5Evolution? Because with the *.flw compression we could have 2x smaller Video+Audio file than with *.mp4! Smaller file makes your Website smaller, not 4MB bigger, like with *.mp4.

Hi Gordon,
Just to tell you that Incomedia has done today the new update for Evolution 13, and now we have 14 aplicable Video Compressions we can use, not only 3, like with the previous update... :)
Also, some she-manager from Incomedia has asked me last week (Friday) if I need some help to solve the problems with Incomedia and Claudio...
Yes, she has read my messages about the problems, and I have told her that Claudio is maybe and expert but I'm not an employee of Incomedia to serve as an experimental Developer of Incomedia's problems...
She understood me and the problem was solved immediately as I proposed to her and to Claudio: Make some new update which will solve all the problems I have... So was done. Now we can use very nice compressions of *.flv which makes I think the smallest but best in resolution video files.
I do thank you on your great support and understanding.
Have my
Best regards
